Overview

Welcome! I’m Molly (they/them), and I’m glad to be a step in your journey moving forward. I bring a warm and grounded presence to the counseling space, making room for the moments of grief and rage as well as the moments of laughter and celebration, and everything that comes in between. I believe that well-being and satisfaction with life come when we feel deeply and safely connected to ourselves, our people, and the world around us, in all the shapes and colors it comes in. Whatever path our work leads us toward, I’m excited and ready to be there alongside you, bringing curiosity and compassion to every step we take together.

I love working with adolescents and adults across the span of adulthood and have a particular focus on members of the LGBTQIA+ community, neurodivergent individuals, and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Everyone comes into the therapy space with their own stories and ways of making meaning in life, and I strive to provide an affirming space that honors the unique ways people think, feel, and move through the world.

I have experience working with a wide range of concerns, including self-discovery, stress and anxiety, interpersonal relationships, suicidal thoughts and behaviors, processing traumatic experiences, and exploring how to create a rich and meaningful life for both the present and the future. My approach to therapy is rooted in person-centered therapy (understanding you to be the expert of your own experience) and built upon principles from ACT, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Somatic Psychotherapy, and applied Polyvagal Theory. Our work may include emotional and cognitive processing, skills building, psychoeducation, and practices around mindfulness, compassion, and curiosity toward our inner self and the world around us.
