Christine Foster, PMHNP-BC, is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner whose life’s calling is providing affirming, compassionate psychiatric care to those who have historically been underserved — particularly LGBTQAI+ and BIPOC communities.
With over a decade of nursing experience across hospitals, clinics, and psychiatric facilities, Christine brings both clinical excellence and genuine human warmth to every patient interaction. She understands intimately that finding a provider who truly sees you — your identity, your history, your full humanity — can feel nearly impossible. Her practice is built on changing that experience entirely.
Christine specializes in trauma and PTSD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and psychotic disorders, with a particular passion for supporting women, LGBTQAI+ individuals, and BIPOC clients navigating mental health challenges that are often compounded by systemic barriers, discrimination, and identity-based trauma. Her approach is trauma-informed, culturally competent, and grounded in the belief that healing requires both clinical expertise and unconditional acceptance.
A proud member of the American Nurses Association, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, Christine holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Population Health from Colorado State University and her Post-Master’s PMHNP certification from CSU Pueblo.
She practices with Forest Path Psychiatry & Healing, a telepsychiatry group serving patients throughout Colorado — meaning affirming, expert psychiatric care is accessible no matter where you are in the state.
