My name is Brooke Zielke, and I am a pre-licensed counselor originally from Chicago, IL. I am a passionate advocate of the LGBTQIA+ community, with a focus on individuals with the following concerns: ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, OCD, PTSD, Bipolar 1 & 2, Anxiety, and Depression. I see teens aged 13+ as well as adults of all ages.
I place a very high premium on making clients safe in my space. I love to bring humor and unconventional therapeutic tactics into session in order to find what will be most beneficial for the client. I am here to guide you through what you need, not assume I know all, so transparency and direct approaches are a staple of my relationship with clients.
I have written letters for both minors and adults in support of their gender affirming care. I will say that there have been times where my credentials, as I am pre-licensed, would not be taken for a WPATH letter, so clients who are seeking that should keep that information in mind when debating if I would be a good fit for them.
