Alice Allis (they/them) is a licensed clinical social worker providing trauma-informed, gender-affirming psychotherapy for adolescents and adults in Colorado and Washington. Their clinical work focuses on supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals and relationships, gender identity exploration, human sexuality, trauma recovery, anxiety, life transitions, and relational concerns. Alice is committed to creating a collaborative, affirming space where clients can explore their identities, experiences, and goals without judgment. They integrate evidence-based approaches—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, systems theory, and somatic-informed practices—to meet each client’s unique needs.
In addition to their clinical practice, Alice is an educator, researcher, and clinician-scholar. They are pursuing both a Master of Education and PhD in Human Sexuality with a concentration in Sex Therapy at Widener University and serve as an adjunct instructor in social work. Their scholarship centers on human sexuality, gender, pleasure, and the intersections of identity and well-being, informing a practice grounded in cultural humility and current research. As a trans-nonbinary clinician, Alice understands the importance of affirming care and is passionate about supporting clients across diverse gender identities, sexual orientations, relationship structures, and lived experiences as they build meaningful, authentic lives.
