Overview

Hello, I’m Miranda, a warm and affirming therapist who wants to meet you exactly where you are and exactly as you are, without judgment. My job is to guide you to being the person you want to be. I use a person-centered approach that is practical and tailored to your unique needs. Therapy doesn’t work if you don’t believe in it or if you find it hard to engage with me, so I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable and understood.

I am a Licensed Psychologist with a PsyD, and I specialize in a wide range of areas including stress, trauma, dementia, anxiety, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, depression, family relationships, grief/bereavement, LGBTQIA+ support, life transitions, military/veteran support, multicultural/diversity issues, perinatal support (pregnancy, prenatal, postpartum), phobias, PTSD, and intimate/romantic relationships. Whether you’re dealing with a specific issue or just need someone to talk to, I’m here to help.

In our sessions, you will learn coping skills and build strategies for dealing with your world more effectively. I am flexible, kind, and a little sarcastic, which helps to keep our work together grounded and real. I will work with you to articulate your goals for treatment and help you achieve them, whatever they are. My approach is collaborative and supportive, ensuring that you feel empowered throughout your therapeutic journey.

Outside of my professional life, I value authenticity and connection. I believe that everyone deserves to be seen and heard, and I am committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all my clients. If you’re ready to take the next step, I’m here to support you every step of the way. Let’s work together to find solutions that make sense for your life and help you become the best version of yourself.
