Jennifer Grubb (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is dedicated to serving the queer community through her work in private practice and by volunteering time as the President of CO-SAIGE, Colorado Counseling Association’s division of the Society for Sexual, Affectional, Intersex, and Gender Expansive Identities. In her private practice, Jennifer primarily works with gay, lesbian, and transgender clients who are finding ways to live authentically. As President of CO-SAIGE, she has an opportunity to advance the field of counseling in its support and affirmation of the LGBTQIA+ population. CO-SAIGE is focused on helping others understand how to challenge the systems that continue to oppress LGBTQIA+ individuals, actively advocating for all members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and facilitating change within the state of Colorado, directly related to the role of providing evidence-based services for the LGBTQIA+ community. Additionally, Jennifer is an ambassador for Athlete Ally- an organization whose mission is to “end homophobia and transphobia in sport and to activate the athletic community to exercise their leadership to champion LGBTQI+ equality.” Each of these roles allow her to carry out her commitment to inclusion of and equity for the LGBTQIA+ community.
