Overview

As a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I am deeply passionate about providing affirming mental health care to LGBTQIA+ individuals. My own experiences navigating mental health as part of this community have granted me a unique understanding of the challenges we often face, including identity exploration, societal stigma, and the effects of discrimination. This perspective fuels my dedication to creating a supportive, safe environment where my patients feel seen, understood, and empowered to work through their mental health concerns.

In my practice, I integrate both clinical expertise and personal insights to address the specific mental health needs of LGBTQIA+ individuals. I am committed to offering culturally sensitive, empathetic care that recognizes the strength and resilience within our community. By approaching each patient with respect and understanding, I aim to help them overcome barriers, build coping skills, and achieve a greater sense of self-acceptance. My goal is to support my patients in leading fulfilling, authentic lives, while helping to reduce the stigma around mental health care for LGBTQIA+ individuals.
