Sometimes we need a little extra help in life. As a therapist, I want to assist my clients to be the best version of themself. I believe in helping my clients find accountability and learn what they can and cannot control. I provide a supportive environment for my clients to find solutions to life’s issues. No issue is viewed as being too big or small.
I received my Masters in Counseling from the University of South Alabama. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Addictions Counselor. As a therapist for adults and adolescents I have been working with people with issues with substance abuse and mental health for over 24 years. The populations that I have been working with include the LGBTQIA+ community, and LGBTQIA+ in the military.
I am also trained in EMDR and I have been using this technique in trauma work for military families, victims of sexual abuse and sports performance enhancement.
