Prism Community Collective and Community Health Partnership are partnering up with trainers, Candace Woods (she/her/hers) and Theo Isoz (they/them/theirs) from the Colorado Sexual Health Initiative to conduct a three-hour training for providers on how to provide affirming care for transgender, non-binary, and gender-expansive youth. This workshop covers transgender, non-binary, and gender-expansive identities, experiences and pronouns; gender-affirming healthcare and caregiving; and the best practices for supporting gender-expansive youth. There will be opportunities for practice, discussing case studies, and Q&As.
