Community Mural Art Project Planning with Concrete Couch
Prism and Concrete Couch are teaming up to create a community mural to honor local queer history, commemorate our resilience as a community, and celebrate the hope we have for a better tomorrow. We want to invite you, local community members and artists, to come to Prism Community Collective on November 14th from 1pm – 2:30pm to help us brainstorm, submit sketches, and contribute to a local art piece that speaks to who we are!
Feel free to create sketches beforehand, come in with ideas, or just be a part of the creation process here at Prism. If you are interested in joining us, please fill out the interest form below.
Unable to join us but still want to submit a sketch and ideas?
Send us an email at prism@prismcos.orgwith your sketches and ideas by Friday, 11/13!
New to Prism? Here’s what to expect:
- Our doors are always locked for security purposes. We have an intercom at the door as first point of contact. Simply call “front office” from the touch screen.
- Weapons are not allowed in space.
- There is a preliminary security check at the door
- We have an intake form we ask all new folks to fill out. Try to arrive a few minutes early to fill that out.
