LiFT is a program designed to help teens and the adults in their lives communicate and connect about important topics such as dating, peer pressure, sex, gender, and more! We know that LGBTQ+ young people and their families (or families where one or more of the parents are LGBTQ+) don’t have as many opportunities to have dedicated time together to build healthy communication skills. That’s why Prism Community Collective + Inside Out Youth Services are partnering with local queer sexuality educator Candace Woods to create a space for this kind of community care and learning!
WHEN: Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 9:30am-4:00pm (breakfast snacks + full lunch will be provided)
WHERE: Location TBA based on registration numbers
WHO: Teens aged 13-19 and as many supportive adults in their life that would like to join
COST: NOTHING! And by registering and attending, each teen will receive a $25 gift card to Downtown Colorado Springs, which can be used at coffee shops, bookstores, restaurants, and more!
