Amanda Jepson (she/her) works as a Contract Clinical Therapist at the Lyda Hill Institute for Human Resilience – Veterans Health and Trauma Clinic in Colorado Springs, Colorado, as a lecturer for the University of Colorado Denver, and as the co-founder of a nonprofit serving survivors of sexual harm. Amanda has been working with survivors of trauma for over a decade and specializes in combat trauma, childhood physical or sexual abuse, sexual assault, and vicarious trauma. Additionally, Amanda is an AASECT-Certified Sex Therapist and an ABS-Certified Sexologist; she is trained in helping clients navigate issues or interests related to sex, sexuality, consensual non-monogamy, and kink or fetishes. She utilizes a variety of interventions, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), mindfulness, CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy), Narrative Therapy, Sensate Focus, DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and Motivational Interviewing. Her goal is to empower her clients as they reclaim their whole selves in the aftermath of trauma.
