Virtual Game Night

Do you love video games? Do you want to connect with community but might not be able to make it to Prism? Virtual Game Night is for you! Prism Community Collective is hosting a virtual game night on our Discord on Friday, April 3rd, from 6pm – 8pm! We have options to playing a variety of multiplayer games including, video games, virtual board games, virtual drawing games and more! Make sure you join our Discord first to join in on all the fun!

What is Discord?
Discord is a third, online space that can be intentionally set up for specific chat rooms and voice channels. Prism uses Discord as a means to share our events and programs weekly, bring community together, and connect to community in a virtual capacity!

How do I join Discord?
You can join Prism’s Discord in a few different ways:

• You can scroll to the bottom of our website and locate the Discord icon to the right of the Facebook icon

When you join Discord, you will be asked to fill out a basic application and to agree to server rules! Be sure to read them thoroughly!

What to expect during Virtual Game Night:

• A Prism Staff facilitated group with invite links to games we will be playing
• We may select a virtual game to play before hand but can always pivot based on community requests
• Voice chat with other community members and staff
  • If you don’t want to talk, no problem, feel free to mute yourself and/or use text chat channels!
• Casual fun and the ability to jump into and out of games any time during the program hours!
• Building community!

If you’re new to Prism events, a Staff member will send an intake form to you, privately. The intake helps us with grants and grant purposes and we appreciate you filling it out! You may also email us at Prism@prismcos.org if you plan to join us for Virtual Game Night to fill out the intake beforehand!
